“Hey ya know, just because it’s suppose to be christmas song doesn’t mean it needs to be strictly about the holiday nor does it have to be full of cheer. Or, If you really wanna reach people with it touch on real subjects that there might be someone out there that can relate to it.. rather than all the cheesy stuff that goes around for most christmas songs. Some people struggle to make things works around the time but if wanted it can be done, gives it more meaning. Take it how you want it. Just don’t be afraid to put your own thoughts into it is what i’m saying. Sometimes when people do that you can really tell that’s what they’re doing and sometimes it makes for a really good song. Plus writing music is supposed to be like a journal for the writer anyways. Sometimes I think people forget that. Just a little advice. Take it it you want it.”
