At least he could pick up on the sarcasm and now he has an idea of what to get. Although, the window is not the way he wants her to go. “You’re not serious about jumping out the window, are you?” He gets that he’s keeping her from her work, but he wouldn’t stay for long, and to be honest, if she’s thinking about jumping out the window just to get some peace, he’s questioning everything about how she feels about him right now.

“Come on….Don’t jump out the window? I….I’m gonna leave, just please don’t jump out the window.”

“Also, don’t get me an electronic reader. I bloody loathe those things. I have to keep selling them online after a few days,” she spoke with her back to him. “I might be if you keep standing in the way.” The annoyance in her voice was clear as day and if she couldn’t find her solitude in her own room, she was determined to go out and get it.

“…Fine. But you’re getting out so I can leave.”
