Complaining was his small form of communication. It was that or straight up being bitched at for the most part. But really he didn’t talk without at least one complaint coming up.

“I could just not talk at all around you if you’d rather it that way. I mean ninety percent of what comes out of my mouth are complaints so if you don’t like it I’ll not talk. Or maybe I’ll do it more. But you could at least take the fact that I’m willing to talk to you even if it is complaining ya know.”

Although she herself was awful at socially communicating, Yuriko tries to refrain from complaining a lot. After all, the brunette saw that it was just life and she would have to deal with it. She knew there was not point in lecturing this to him anyways, so the thoughts were kept to herself.

“But then I couldn’t annoy you, Ranmaru-kun~,” she responded in a teasing manner. “I suppose. Eh, you can stop or leave if you want. Honestly, I couldn’t care less.”
